No Tricks... Just a Treat!

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!


Are you ready for Trick-or-treating?
Well it seems like we have started cold and flu season off with a bang this year~
my daughter isn't feeling good and she and her good friends aren't feeling trick or treating this year. 
 :( 
Instead, she plans to watch a Ghost Adventures marathon
 and trick or treat for candy from the bowl in the kitchen
It's okay with me but I can't help feeling a little sad that this is the first time since
Ryan was born  (20 years ago)  that we aren't out trick or treating.  :(   

My boys are talking about getting together with a few friends~ 
so it looks like it will be a quiet night for the girls at home.
What better time to put up a little TREAT for French Country Cottage readers!
:) 
 I shared a peek at the new paint and drapes that my daughters room got as part of a mini room makeover with the LCI network.

I actually worked on more than one makeover... but not ready to share that one just yet.

Happy Halloween to you my Dear friend..Yes we are now into our cold weather..just hope the snow stays away for awhile..Sorry to hear your girl is not well..Love your rock fireplace..Loved your daughter purple room..50 years ago I had a all purple LR with the sofa, drapes etc..I loved it girl..Take care and stay safe on your side of the mountain honey..Hugs and smiles Gloria

  13. We are enjoying all the kids in their costumes.....so cute! I'm giving out LOTS of candy...I don't want any leftovers....well, maybe a few Snickers! lol

    I would like to redo my master bedroom and bath...sigh....

  37. I loved the Jack-o-lantern lit in the outdoor fireplace too, in face I am wondering why I didn't think about opening up my tine fireplace box during my Halloween party and why I didn't place a lit Jack inside ... would have been toooooo cute!! Thanks for sharing.
